Lake Bogoria lies towards the northern end of the country. The lake is 34sq km and offers something unique and exciting. The lake is the heart of an arid landscape, in the shadow of the dramatic walls of the lake is often carpeted pink. The western shore is lined with spouting geysers, bubbling geothermal pools and spurting steam. Fresh water springs at the edge attracts an abundance of wildlife and birds. The shores are always lined with Zebras, Gazelles and Baboons. Lake Bogoria is one of the best places to see Greater kudu and also there are many fish eagles. Other bird species include: Black necked Grebe, African Darter, and White necked vulture. Lake Bogoria is one of a kind it’s a place where adventure lovers can enjoy the spectacular African scenery in full solitude. The area to the hot springs is good size with numerous sources where hot water erupts 3 meters high.

Bird walk: Take a bird walk with the naturalists where you get a chance to see the buffalo weaver, woodland kingfisher and Rufous crowned roller.
Explore Kesubo swamp: Great for bird lovers, well over 200 bird species are resident here. The swamp holds the record for the largest number of bird’s species seen in one hour.
